Choosing by story
The age limit tells you where your child is allowed to play. The story tells you where they will want to.
- Magic: Harry Potter opens with an invitation to Hogwarts. The team solves magical puzzles and hunts for hidden artifacts.
- Detective work: in Sherlock Holmes, the detective has vanished, and his assistants decipher messages and use deduction to find out why.
- Spies: The Bunker is a Cold War shelter full of codes and secret passages. James Bond suits older kids who want a heist.
- Time and machines: Time Machine is a laboratory with light effects and mechanical puzzles.
- Sea legends: in Captain's Cabin, the riddles are hidden among a missing captain's belongings.
Kids who love a particular book or film usually know straight away which one they want. Let them choose; it is their party.
