A spy mission underground: what happens in the 60 minutes

The setup is simple. You are a team of spies who have slipped into a secret military bunker to get hold of classified information. The shelter was built during the Cold War, and it hides many secrets.

Then the doors lock and the security system switches on. From that moment you have 60 minutes, and the job breaks down into three parts:

• decipher the codes;
• find the secret passages;
• get out before the guards return.

This escape game was made for teams who enjoy codes, puzzles and the feeling of being on a spy mission. The setting is military and authentic, the atmosphere is heavy, and there is a breath of history at every step.

The difficulty is rated medium. The toughest rooms in the network are rated hard, and The Bunker is not one of them. That makes it a reasonable first pick if you have never played an escape room before.

Miera iela 61: two quest rooms at one address

The Bunker is at Miera iela 61 in Riga. The same address has a second game, House of Mysteries: a horror-genre story for ages 16 and up, 2 to 6 players, with a hard difficulty rating.

Together the two rooms take up to 11 players at the same time. A larger group can split into two teams by age or taste, and everyone plays in the same hour. Younger players can take The Bunker, while those aged 16 and over take House of Mysteries.
