House of Mysteries: a horror escape room for experienced teams
House of Mysteries is a horror-genre escape room in Riga with a dark atmosphere and challenging puzzles. It is for players aged 16 and over, teams of 2 to 6, and you get 60 minutes. The difficulty is rated hard, and the room is at its best with people who play escape games regularly.
Who tends to get the most out of it:
- Teams with several rooms behind them. If medium-difficulty games feel familiar, the puzzles here are a step up.

There is one more detail. Everyone who has tried to get out of the house has failed. None of this stops your team. You decide to see it for yourselves, and you go inside.
Your goal has two halves. You need to uncover the secret of the house and you need to find the way out, and you have 60 minutes for both.

In House of Mysteries a hard rating means challenging puzzles, and the room was designed with regular escape room visitors in mind. Experience pays off here. A team that already knows how to split tasks between people and share what it finds tends to move faster than one that is still working out how to play together.

House of Mysteries is at Miera iela 61 in Riga. The same address is home to The Bunker, a spy story set in a Cold War shelter, for ages 7 and up, 2 to 5 players, medium difficulty.
Between them the two rooms take up to 11 players at the same time. Six in House of Mysteries and five in The Bunker fills the location exactly, and everyone plays in the same hour.
